These techniques include the ancient Etruscan art of granulation which involves the application of tiny metal beads to a smooth surface which in turn creates an interesting texture on that surface. Another technique that she employs is hammering through the use of handmade tools. This technique was widely used during the Stone Ages and gives the piece a kind of rustic nature to it. Lastly, she also makes use of silver cutouts which gives the sterling silver she uses to create her pieces wonderful patterns on them.
